First of all thanks Moonie for pointing me to this network. I want this to be a space for sharing ideas, many of which I'll post here and select others will be posted on the site:
http://jazzipedia.com -- Jazzipedia is a work in progress!
I've been fortunate enough to have made friend's with Joe Pass, Ella Fitzgerald, Jaco Pastorius, Wayne Wright, Chieli Minucci, Milt Jackson, Jack Wilkens, Mike Stern and Leni Stern. I love jazz and especially love the singers and guitarists.
Please take a look at my friend Wayne Wright's page. Wayne was the man responsible for getting Les Paul out of retirement. He played for Peggy Lee, Tony Bennett, George Barnes, Judy Garland and a host of others.

Another person certainly worth mentioning is the late great Eddie Durham, who had his hand in many thing.

I hope to make this an inviting network!

I added a blog in the last few days and unfortunately today I have to add one about the passing of one of my best friends, Wayne Wright. This guy played with Peggy Lee, Tony Bennett, George Barnes and was responsible for getting Les Paul out of retirement many years ago.
Hope to talk to you soon.
I just visited Jazzipedia.com and it's a great site. I'm looking forward to seeing more from it and visiting it often. I really liked the history on Art Tatum and Duke.
Thank you for your kind words and I hope to have the pleasure of hearing and perhaps performing with you.
Take care and keep in touch. I promise to spread the word about Jazzipedia.com.

Yes, 71 this month, working on #2 I hope this year (last time took nearly 8 years, ugh). Thanks so much for your warm words. They are appreciated enormously. I went to your site but can't tell is that your own site? It looks like it's simply for sales via Amazon, am I missing the point? I just signed up for Amazon (which I guess means B&N also). This is a new world for me, trying to figure it out as I go along.
Best,
Elli
