About Me:
BEPPE CAPOZZA, professional musician and musical advisor. Graduated in Languages and Modern Foreign Literatures (French/English),at the University of the studies in Florence. He fluently speaks: English, French, Spanish. Journalist publicist with fixed collaboration c/o the daily paper "The Time" of Rome up to 1982. He has completed studies of classical guitar, harmony and composition as “auditore privatista” in the classes held by the M° G. Segantini at the Conservatory in Florence. Parallelly he has deepened his own knowledges of jazz and modern harmony under the guide of M° Bruno Tmomaso, undertaking besides the activity of professional guitarist as session-man. In these years, in Florence, actively collaborates with musicians of the name of Giovanni Unterberger, Tony Sidney, Alessandro di Puccio, Luca Flores, Massimo Boltrini etc… From 1986 to 1998 he has collaborated, as advisor and musical producer, with MEDIASET networks, acquiring notable professional experience in the sectors of musical direction, editing and computerized mastering as well as management of the digital softwares. Besides, from 1993 he has undertaken a profitable collaboration with the Spanish association "PROEXDRA" (Association de profesores por the expression dramatica) of Seville, within the "Escuela de Verano de Viznar" (Granada), where he has held as musician raced of music and dance traditional of the Brazilian East North (Music de Raices) - in Spain, Holland and Italy - together with the ballet dancer and choreographer Fernando Neder (Rio de Janeiro). Recently he has deepened the contacts with the Arab and middle-Oriental musical traditions , collaborating with Hispanic-Arabs musicians and, in the last years, with the kurdo-Iranian virtuoso Siamak Guran. Lately has collaborated with numerous musicians in the U.S.A. (Pinetop Perkins, Dee Dee Bradley, Coco Bucci in Chicago / Leslie Heathbourne in New Orleans), as well as in Italy with the italo-American singer Tosi Poleri in the promotional tour of the CD "Song Neruda", that proposes disguised as musical some of the Odes of the famous Chilean poet. In Italy he has to the asset numerous collaborations as session-man and arranger-producer collaboring with Andrea Alberti, Toni Armetta, Vittorio Sonsini, Mike Appelbaum, Alberto di Giacomo, Claudio Mastracci, Jimmy Owens, Giulio Capiozzo, with the "Orquesta Cohiba" and "Alma Latina" and many others.
Numerous they are besides his collaborations with Jazz Singers in Italy and to the foreign countries:
Dee Dee Bradley (USA), Deborah Crivellari (Brazil), Maria Torres (MEXICO), Cristina di Patrizio, Alessia Biondi, Annalisa di Palo, Sarah Isidori (Italy).
