I was able to purchase a large portion of his library from a contact in Calif that informed me the music was sold at auction for failure to respond to delinquent storage notices. This is what I was told. I subsequently, got wind of this event and purchased a huge portion of the music for thousands of dollars of my personal money. It was well worth it to me because I understand, appreciate the talent and genius that went into these musical creations. I've been having a ball performing these charts now in my possession immensely and intend to treat these classic historical documents with care and love. I use only copies for the most part and intend to donate the originals to a worthy library and/or museum in my will much like John Henrik Clarke did with his manuscripts at the Shomberg Library in N.Y. I will be performing a few of these things on the 13th.

The album The Temptations In A Mellow Mood introduced me to the world of showtunes as a young kid in high school. Eventually, into the world of jazz and I never turned back. But how can anyone not remember those fabulous Temptations as Eddie Kendrick croons the lovely composition Try To Remember composed by Harvey Schmidt. Delete Comment

I am free to move about and consider myself a seasoned professional however, I also consider myself an ongoing work in progress. Always seeking to improve my overall stage presence and vocal sound. Paying my dues. The type of music I perform is basically jazz and showtunes. I have my own library of professional arrangements by such greats as Quincy Jones, Claus Ogerman, Marty Paich, Morty Stevens, George Rhodes, Don Costa, Nelson Riddle among others. These are authentic charts (Trust Me) Divine Order. I am available for immediate bookings. You can get a sample of me in action via YOUTUBE and MYSPACE and of course right here at Global. Member Quotes About TGJN

Hi Tamm E!

I was just saying that you knocked this out of the park with TGJN. We have needed something like this for so long and I am telling my friends about this. I said that it is sort of like a myspace for jazz but it is actually so much more. This is real. The people here truly love jazz and we know people like that are not your average people.

I have felt for a long time that straight-ahead jazz has been slipping away from us. I have hope now that there will be a resurgence (or shall I say an insurgency:-) to bring this baby back full force!

You just knocked it out of the park. Thanks again.

xoxo,
Janie
